- Depart from your location to Laguna Atascosa National Wildlife Refuge
- View and identify wildlife
9:00 a.m.
- Gather at Visitor Center Headquarters
- View displays and take notes of the refuge history and wildlife
9:45 a.m.
- Depart to Osprey Overlook
- Photograph, sketch, and take notes of what is seen at the overlook
10:30 a.m.
- Begin route along the Bayside Drive trail
- Note the geologic structure of along the drive
- Take notes of historical events
12:30 a.m.
- Complete route and visit other sites of interest
- Return to campus
